A five-screen mobile recommendation flow that turns a camera request into comparable options, explicit trade-offs, and visible decision logic.

Designing for a decision, not a result

Camera Advisor is a UI/UX redesign created in Figma and derived from the functional Agent Product Comparison prototype. This focused mobile flow asks for a budget, intended use, and priorities, then presents three options with the reasoning needed to compare them.

Interaction structure

  • Need: begin with the user’s own language instead of a long specification form.
  • Interpretation: expose the budget and priorities detected by the system before showing an answer.
  • Recommendation: frame one option through its best use and main trade-off rather than presenting a score alone.
  • Alternatives: keep the other candidates visible in the same comparison structure.
  • Reasoning: separate portability, video, and low-light performance so the recommendation can be questioned.

Visual direction

The interface uses sharp geometric fields, black space, saturated pink, pale paper panels, and a dark green counterpoint. Expressive display type gives the experience a playful editorial voice, while monospaced text keeps specifications and system reasoning readable.
